There are links to over 4000 electronic journals on the Library's Electronic Journals webpage. Anyone who comes to the Library may access any of these electronic journals from computers located in the Library. If you want to access an electronic journal from a computer outside of the Library, each journal is tagged (see below) to indicate who can access it. Please read the Library's Acceptable Use Policy before accessing electronic journals. 

Many of the Library's electronic journals can be accessed only from computers with Texas Medical Center IP addresses or by cardholders who have registered for HAM-TMC Library's remote access services


 

What the colored tags mean:
Full-text access from TMC IP addresses (Baylor, UT, TWU, PV A&M, A&M IBT) and for remote access users.
MD Consult. Full-text access from TMC IP addresses (Baylor, UT, TWU, PV A&M, A&M IBT) and for most remote access users. MDC also requires separate login. More information on MD Consult. . . .
Full-text access is available only from computers with HAM-TMC Library IP addresses.
Full-text access is open to all. Some free journals may require users to complete a free registation.
Full-text access is available for some articles.
Full-text access is available for a limited period of time.
