Please be courteous when driving in the TMC. Many people walk and bike around the campus. Please be alert for pedestrians in crosswalks and bicyclists in traffic lanes. Bicyclists are required to follow all traffic regulations and pedestrians always have the right-of-way on campus.
A few short-term and handicapped parking spots are available in front of the Library. Garage 3 is located underneath the Library and has limited parking for guests. Please do not park in spaces marked “contract parking” or you will be towed. The next-closest parking is in Garage 4, located one-and-a-half blocks from the Library with entrances on Cambridge and Ross Sterling Streets. UTHealth controls Garage 3. See Parking Rates. The TMC controls Garage 4. See TMC Visitor Parking for information on parking fees.
Parking for the disabled is available on the circular drive in front of the Library and in Garage 3. The garage elevator provides access to the Library via the 3rd floor crossover. Please note that this garage elevator does not run on weekends.
A wheel-chair accessible lift to the left of the entrance steps is available for individuals with disabilities. Please ring the bell for assistance if needed. Inside the library an elevator on the first floor provides access to the street and second floors.
