Conference Facilities The Houston Academy of Medicine-Texas Medical Center Library conference facilities provide exceptional yet reasonably priced spaces for all types of meetings and conferences. Conveniently located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center and adjacent to the 350 seat Sammons Auditorium, the Library's conference facilities include:    Group meeting rooms  Computer Classroom  WebCasting Facilities Coming Soon! The HAM-TMC Library will post information as it becomes available. Group Meeting Rooms Group meeting rooms are available in a variety of sizes and configurations. The Library can provide data projectors, flipcharts, and other presentation equipment in any of the group meeting rooms. All of the group meeting rooms are handicap accessible.  Meeting areas may be reserved for use by Texas Medical Center Affiliates. Please visit our reservation calendar to book a room online. Non-Texas Medical Center Affiliates may also reserve our classroom for a fee by going to our online form for Non-TMC Affliates. Large Street Level Conference Room The Street Level Conference room accomodates tableside seating for 20 and a room capacity of 45. It is equipped with a White Board and one workstation that is connected to the Internet. The workstation contains the following: Full Microsoft Office Suite that includes Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. High speed Internet connectivity. (Netscapte/Internet Explorer) Other Software First Floor Conference Room The First Floor Conference Room seats eight (8) at the table with a total room capacity for 12 persons. It is equipped with a white board. Computer Classroom The Library Computer Classroom accommodates up to 40 trainees. A state-of-the-art facility for providing hands-on computer training, the classroom facilities include: 24 Dell 233 MHz workstations  Internet access   PubMed and other databases  Black & White printing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software Training Services Enhance your conference or meeting by making the information experts at the HAM-TMC Library a vital part of your conference.
