Texas legislators established the TPCN to set up a network of six regional poison centers to provide emergency treatment information to Texas citizens for poisonings and toxic exposures. This site provides prevention and first aid information, fact sheets and materials for educational programs, information on poisonous plants and animals, and a useful selection of links to other relevant sites, including ASPCA’s pet poisoning/prevention information. Publications are free to download, print or order. The general information brochure can be downloaded or printed here, in English and eleven other languages. A Recalls section links to lists of recalls of consumer products, pesticides, vehicles, foods and medicines.
