Commemorate your support of the TMC Library with a personalized book.

This is your opportunity to leave a lasting legacy with the Library.

Formed by Baylor College of Medicine and the Houston Academy of Medicine when they merged their libraries in 1949, the TMC Library has always been an independent non-profit organization, serving the educational, research and clinical institutions of the Texas Medical Center over the decades. Today, the Library is the access provider of high-quality biomedical information the institutions need to educate students, carry-on cutting-edge research and practice the best medicine for our community.

Proceeds from purchasing a personalized book spine will be used to help support collections, technology, and for general use funds to cover unexpected contingencies. This is a great way to honor loved ones, celebrate milestones, give thanks and remember those who came before us.

The Knowledge Builders commemorative art piece is located in a prominent location near the entrance. A limited number of book spines are available in different sizes, colors and prices. The spines are made of highly durable metal and come in copper, silver, mint ice, light gold and dark gold.
