Descriptions: A collection of medical and life science e-books. Link to a quick guide and a training video from the ebrary home page. To make full use of ebrary, create a personal account. Go to ebrary's Help documentation for detailed information on setting up a personal account and on the features registration makes available. These include highlighting and annotation, creating a virtual bookshelf, linking out to other resources, copy and paste, printing up to 60 pages per session, sharing, and using RefWorks with this resource. Ebrary was added to the collection with funds donated by The Friends of the Texas Medical Center Library.

Descriptions: The Biology Image Library allows free access to view image thumbnails and annotations, but only a subscription (which The TMC Library does not provide) enables the viewing and use of full-sized images not in the public domain. The scientific community is invited to contribute images of significance and high visual quality that are accompanied by descriptive annotation.
