Learn how to get started with conducting a systematic review and available resources that can assist in a systematic review process.
The AVMA has posted a large amount of detailed, very useful information on providing for pets and livestock in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency- before, during and after- in the form of printable brochures and a comprehensive booklet for animal owners called “Saving the Whole Family.” These documents are provided in Spanish as well as English. For veterinary professionals, the Emergency Preparedness and Response Guide (over 400 pages) is freely available from the website for download or printing. A brochure aimed at veterinary practices and helpful for disaster planning is provided. See the AVMA Collections page for more publications and information on disaster preparedness. Selected links for both pet owners (pet care, FAQ’s) and professionals (associations, government agencies) can be found here also.
