Descriptions: OMIM is a comprehensive, authoritative compendium of human genes and genetic phenotypes that is freely available and updated daily. The full-text, referenced overviews in OMIM contain information on all known mendelian disorders and over 12,000 genes. OMIM focuses on the relationship between phenotype and genotype. It is updated daily, and the entries contain copious links to other genetics resources. Registration required for ftp downloading on the part of nonprofit entities; commercial use/use by a commercial entity requires a license.

It can be searched and consulted online, or the annual edition and monthly cumulative supplements can be downloaded in .pdf format. The Electronic Orange Book provides daily updates of new generic drug approvals. Search by active ingredient, proprietary name, patent, application number or application holder. If a newly-approved drug product is not turned up in the search, use the search box at top right of the page to find results from the Orange Book's monthly supplements and other FDA sources.

Descriptions:   PsycArticles is a database of almost 200,000 full-text, peer-reviewed articles published by the American Psychological Association, and affiliated journals.  The database is updated twice weekly and coverage for most journals goes back to Volume 1, Issue 1.  Over 110 journals are represented, with articles from as early as 1894, chronicling the history and development of psychology research over time.
