Alice Sherwood is the Systems Librarian at The TMC Library with 12yrs of experience in public and academic libraries. Specializing in information management and web development, Alice promotes academic work and historical collections of the TMC area with the library's institutional repository, Digital Commons@TMC.

Over the last few years, she has highlighted local scholarly work including TMC's historical archives. She has helped faculty, staff and students publish open access articles in medical journals. Alice may spend her days at The TMC Library, but it’s the excitement of raising awareness of the library's collections, accessed by 160+ countries worldwide DigitalCommons@TMC with currently 2.9 million downloads, 38k items that makes her day.

When she is not at The TMC Library, Alice is an avid nature photographer and is on a mission to visit all the national parks in America with her husband.
