It looks as though the verdict is still out on last week’s Thingamajig. Suggestions have included rib cutters, a very small bottle opener, and tonsil guillotines. Tonsil guillotines strike me as a good guess but I think these might be a bit small even for those.
One of the boxes has “sliding [illegible] knife” written on the side. [Illegible] looks as though it could be “heart” but I have not been able to find any references anywhere to “sliding heart knives”, and I’m having a hard time picturing how these could be used on the heart directly, unless one relaxed the concept of “heart” to include peripheral veins and arteries.
We haven’t given up yet, though!
