DigitalCommons@TMC Celebrates 5 Million Total Downloads!

This institutional repository reached its 4 million milestone a few months ago this spring, and we are celebrating that is has reached itsĀ 5 million total downloads over the weekend.

On April 5th, 2005, the first article was deposited in Digital Commons@TMC. Since then, 46.3k items have been deposited into this institutional repository. On average, DigitalCommons@TMC is viewed on average by 200+ countries, 6000+ institutions, 450k downloads monthly.

The John P. McGovern Historical Collections and Research Center has notable historical collections on the foundations of the medical specialties, Texas medicine, rheumatology, and North American public health. Major development in the last year since our last 3 million milestone is having a having a new journal for our TMC Library Newsletter. Not only does it come with a modern design, it also back dates to all the way back to 2015.

Another example with a modern design look is Journal of Applied Research on Children .
