Find More Resources from the TMC Library – Explore Databases in the A to Z list!

To explore the Library’s extensive A to Z list of databases and websites, go to “Find Books and Collections” in our top menu, or under our Core Resources, click on “More Databases”.   You can search the list by subject, database type or most popular.

Our Library provides a wide variety of resources from publishers, Texas state programs, federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and other reliable information sources.

For example, through the TexShare program, the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) provides TMC Library users access to 30+ databases from Gale, Proquest, and Academic Video Online. These databases offer a variety of content (articles, images, newspapers, video, etc.) that cover topics in health, medicine, social science, legal, career building and much more. K-12, adult, college and higher education learners can all benefit.

Note:  The EBSCO offerings through TSLAC will change.  After August 15th, TSLAC will provide continued access to the following Ebsco databases:

  • LearningExpress Library
  • LearningExpress: PREPStep 2- and 4-Year Colleges and Universities
  • LearningExpress: Job and Career Accelerator
  • Life Magazine Archive, 1936-2000
  • Time Magazine Archive, 1923-2000

CINAHL Plus with Full Text will remain a permanent Ebsco resource in our collection.
