Visits to the TMC Library are subject to the Library’s Code of Conduct. Use of the TMC Library is membership-based according to institutional affiliation. Non-affiliated guests are subject to the Policy for Non-Affiliated Visitors at the TMC Library and fees may apply.

Driving

Please be courteous when driving in the TMC. Many people walk and bike around the campus. Please be alert for pedestrians in crosswalks and bicyclists in traffic lanes. Bicyclists are required to follow all traffic regulations and pedestrians always have the right-of-way on campus.

Parking

Garage 3 is located underneath the Library and has limited parking spaces for guests, hourly pay to park. Please do not park in spaces marked “contract parking” or you will be towed. The next-closest parking is in Garage 4, located one-and-a-half blocks from the Library with entrances on Cambridge and Ross Sterling Streets. UTHealth controls Garage 3. See Parking Rates. Front-Door Access

A wheel-chair accessible lift to the right of the entrance steps is available for individuals with disabilities. Please ring the red phone button for assistance if needed. Inside the library an elevator on the first floor provides access to the street level.

MetroRail

The METRORail Red Line runs on Fannin Street. Be aware of all the METRO signals which note approaching trains as the trains always have the right-of-way.
