Non-affiliated visitors who physically enter The TMC Library may access and use the library resources during their visit subject to limitations as outlined below.
A current state/government issued identification or other photo I.D. is required for entry. Non-affiliated public visitors may enter the TMC Library only one day each week, during weekdays (no weekend access). Visitor computer use is limited to one hour per visit. For more frequent visits, stop by the Circulation Desk to inquire about the library’s access fee program.
Access to the library’s databases and electronic journals, whether from a library computer or a personal device, requires a temporary username and password, which is available by request at the Circulation Desk. For non-affiliated visitors, this access is limited to one hour per visit.
Other library services also have limitations. Brief reference assistance (5-10 minutes, only available during business hours) will be provided to non-affiliated visitors for free. Additional reference assistance, such as literature searches and extended one-on-one consultations, are available to non-affiliated visitors for a fee.
