Policy for Non-Affiliated Visitors at the TMC Library

Non-affiliated visitors who physically enter The TMC Library may access and use the library resources during their visit subject to limitations below. All library users are expected to follow the TMC Library’s Code of Conduct. Persons under 18 years old and unaffiliated with the TMC Library (i.e. not students of or employed by a member institution and with an ID badge) must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times.

A current state/government issued identification or other photo ID is required for entry. Non-affiliated public visitors may enter the TMC Library only one day each week, during weekdays (no weekend access). Visitor computer use is limited to one hour per visit. For more frequent visits, stop by the Circulation Desk to inquire about the library’s access fee program.

Access to the library’s databases and electronic journals, whether from a library computer or a personal device, requires a temporary username and password, which is available by request at the Circulation Desk. For non-affiliated visitors, this access is limited to one hour per visit.
