  1. Brandon Kennedy, one of the contributors to the MCMLA Early Career Health Science Librarian Resource Guide was awarded the 2025 MLA Chapter Project of the Year, Early Career Librarian Initiative Task Force from Midcontinental Chapter of the Medical Library Association.
  2. Jasmin Legaspi (Resource Management) and Gagina Leonard (McGovern Historical Center) collaborated to ingest 273 UT MD Anderson print dissertations, that were given to the McGovern Historical Center. This cataloging project spanned from February to April 2025, and required the addition of RDA cataloging fields, subject headings, and 590 notes to MARC records, as well as all the physical processing required for shelving. These dissertations are now a permanent part of the TMC Library's historical print collections.
  3. Chad Metz and Joanne Romano were each awarded the Network of the National Library of Medicine Region 3 Professional Development Award to attend the Electronic Resources & Libraries 20th Annual Library Conference in Austin, Texas, March 2025.

  5. Sandra Yvette Desjardins and Bronwyn Sutherland were awarded the SCC/MLA William D. Postell, Sr. Professional Development Award to pursue the MLA Systematic Review Services Specialization Level I. (2023)
  6. Sandra Yvette Desjardins was selected for the AAHSL/NNLM Professional Coaching for Aspiring Mid-Level Managers Pilot Program (2024-2025).
