McGovern Historical Center

The McGovern Historical Center (MHC) at the Texas Medical Center Library (The TMC Library) preserves and provides access to the historical collections and rare materials of the Texas Medical Center’s (TMC) institutions, faculty, and staff. The MHC has notable rare book and archival collections on the history of the TMC, foundations of medicine, rheumatology, public health, psychiatry, and the effects of radiation. Our most prominent collections include Texas Medical Center, Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission, and Medical World News Photograph Collection.
