Essential Science Indicators, or ESI, is an interactive database from Clarivate (publisher of Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports) which reveals emerging science trends as well as influential individuals, institutions, papers, journals and countries in any chosen field of research.
With in-depth statistics and visualization tools based upon the Web of Science’s 12 million articles from over 12,000 global journals, ESI gives scholars a big picture view of research trends in specialized areas through sophisticated analytics on Clarivate’s citation data. Using their intuitive interface, it is easy to drill down to the most heavily cited and the “hottest” articles (two different ESI filters) in any given field.
Learn what competitors and colleagues close to home and abroad are doing through ESI’s intuitive interface.
