Non-librarians often have the mistaken idea that because a publication is online it is cheaper than print, and that libraries actually save money by going fully digital. The truth is, academic libraries pay many, many more times above list price for providing the convenience of online institutional access, and the prices increase each year. We hope the following infographic will give our users a sense for how much annual subscriptions to popular medical journals and journal packages cost the TMC Library.
